Clients have the option of either attending school through online in our Learning Center or attending
a one-on-one school outside of our program. We place the utmost emphasis on performing well in school,
as we believe that scholastic success translates to increased self-esteem, routine structure, time
management and organizational skills. This directly impacts other areas of our client’s lives, such
as interpersonal relationships and
Internships & Job Opportunities
Once our kids have surpassed certain milestones, we provide them the opportunity to apply for internships
and start working if applicable. Through our extensive networks in Los Angeles, we are able to find
jobs and internships in a field of interest for our residents while they are still in our house.
This allows our residents to build self esteem and
work-experience, improve their ability to adhere to a healthy schedule, and apply their newly
developed skills in a professional environment. Additionally, it allows us to support our
residents if any issues should arise during the next phase of their lives after our program.
In addition to attending school, one therapy session per week, and weekly activities with the house,
each client is paired with a mentor who meets with them weekly, focusing on passion-based activities
in the local LA area. Mentoring sessions allow teens to build self-esteem, form healthy relationships,
and incorporate the new tools they develop in treatment into their daily routines.
